Hello, my name is Matthew Lexow, Sgt, US Army, Ret. I
accidentally signed your antiwar veteran list. I understood it to
be a forum and said my piece -- which you may not like. I would
like to retract my statement and the addition of my name to your
list. Please let me know the results of this inquiry -- will you
take my name off of the list, Please? Thank you much for your help,
I respect your position as you should mine.
As for positions, I do believe there is a worldwide
threat of terrorism that needs to be thwarted. I also believe that
is a direct affect of the ILLEGAL OCCUPATION OF PALESTINE BY ISRAEL.
Until this occupation is ended, the threat will escalate. It is
only OBVIOUS! The backing of Israel by the United States,
militarily, direct money and billions of dollars directly from
religious organizations here in the states, makes us THE PRIME
TARGET FOR TERRORISM! It will continue, no matter what happens in
Afghanistan and Iraq. Until the threat of Israel is removed. Until
then, I feel we must back any efforts to thwart these terrorists.
It is not the fault of the President, nor the military. In the
words of Jews and Christians, "it is ordained". That Israel be born
of fire and death. The "return of Christ" cannot happen until such
time that the "Temple" is rebuilt. This will not happen without
Armageddon, the Judeo-Christian goal and destiny. This can be
stopped, but only with the cooperation of and realization by these
folks that Armageddon is NOT imminent, inevitable. Please add THIS
