  • John Kerry asked back in 1971, "How do you ask the last man to die for a mistake?" The same way you ask the first man.

As a former Army Reservist for 10 years, as the wife of two Vietnam veterans, I know what the "effects" of war look like, what it sounds like in the middle of the night.

I'm currently participating in a movement to wear red on Friday (comes from WWII) to denote the rebellion against what our country is doing. I currently am participating in a weekly peace vigil at noon every Sunday. Although we say it's only for 20 minutes, we usually hang around for an hour.

I blog and try to vent and keep up with this horror at http://www.scarsandstripes.com.
