Condemn the U.S. Attacks on Iraq!
Sanctions are an act of war--end all sanctions now!

On February 16th, U.S. aircraft again attacked sites within Iraq--this time they were sites outside of the no-fly-zones, killing at least three people. Using imperialism's typical hypocritical bullshit about protecting the peace and security of the region and how the attacks were in self-defense.

The reality is that since 1991, the U.S. has been the biggest threat to the peace and security to the region, starting with the initial bombing of Iraq and continuing with air strikes--averaging 2-3 times a week for over two years. The U.S. claim that Iraq poses a threat with its "intent" to produce weapons of mass destruction has been used time and again by the U.S. to unleash its own weapons of mass destruction against the people of Iraq. The biggest of these weapons being the ongoing sanctions which have resulted in the deaths of over 1,000,000 civilians, most of them being children under the age of 5.

In typical "killer-cop" mentality--blaming the victim for their death--the U.S. military tries to convince us that they the ones in danger and are striking out in justifiable defense. But how can the world's most powerful military, attacking from high altitudes and safe distances, expect the world to believe that it is the victim?

No, it is not Iraq who poses a threat nor is it the U.S. military who is the victim. The real threat--not only to Iraq but to the people of the world--comes from U.S. imperialism. Until that threat is eliminated, there can be no real peace in the world.

Stop the U.S. War Against the People of Iraq!
Sanctions are an act of war--end sanctions now!
